In the Errands module (standardversion), we are now introducing support for collaborating with contractors in case management. Contractors gain access to their assignments via the Pythagoras GO app.
- Internal staff can, in both Pythagoras Web and Pythagoras GO, assign contractors to cases and allow them to manage their assignments via Pythagoras GO.
- Contractors can receive and work with their assigned cases via a contractor portal in the app.
Errands – Contractor assignment and Contractor portal
We have taken the first step in developing expanded support for contractors in the Standard Case module. It is now possible to assign contractors to cases and give them access to their assignments via the Pythagoras GO app. The feature also lays the foundation for a more mobile way of working, where external contractors can to a greater extent work directly via future mobile interfaces.
Through the contractor portal in Pythagoras GO, contractors can receive and manage their assigned cases. This makes collaboration with external contractors easier and creates a more efficient workflow from assignment to completed work.
As part of this feature, we have also introduced several improvements in both Pythagoras Web and Pythagoras GO. For internal staff, new case statuses have been added along with a new section in the case card. Status messages have also been updated with new roles and dynamic text. There is also the option to control whether customer-specific fields should be visible to contractors or not.
The feature is included in version 2.8.2 but is not activated by default. It needs to be enabled separately for customers who wish to use the contractor support.
