# Release Notes 2.8.5

### User authorization and Security

**Bug – P3-30322 – Removed default passwords for SAML login**  
Accounts created automatically when logging in via SAML SSO previously received a shared, built-in default password. This has been replaced with a unique, randomly generated password per account, and the password is now updated automatically if the SSO login requirement is later disabled for the account.

 

### Pythagoras Web

**Bug – P3-30799 – Contractor button was missing for inspection errands**  
The “Send to contractor” button now displays correctly for the Inspection errand type, in line with how it works for other errand types.

**Bug – P3-30291 – Correct default value for work order type in GO**  
When creating a new work order in Pythagoras GO, the Work order type field could previously be locked to the wrong default value. The correct default value is now shown and used for each work order module.

**Bug – P3-29101 – New color for the chart menu**  
The menu button for printing or downloading charts, for example for energy and leases, previously turned an inconsistent purple color when clicked. The color has now been changed to gray for a more uniform appearance.

**Bug – P3-28773 – Filtered selection now works correctly for building authorizations**  
Selecting or deselecting all rows in a filtered list of building authorizations previously had no effect, and the authorization was reset when switching tabs. Selecting and deselecting now works correctly even when the list is filtered.

**Bug – P3-24646 – Incorrect access-denied popup no longer occurs**  
Some users could get an incorrect access-denied popup, caused by the check for unread comments running continuously in the background. The check is now only performed when the messaging feature is opened, which resolves the issue.

 

### Pythagoras Buildings

**Bug – P3-29706 – Fixed placement of room text in unusually shaped rooms**  
Room text could previously end up outside the room, or give the impression of belonging to a different room, in L- or U-shaped spaces. The position of the text is now calculated so that it is always placed inside the current room.

 

### Pythagoras Documents

**Bug – P3-29948 – Window could not be resized with the document manager open**  
When the document manager was opened, it ended up behind, for example, the lease or building card, which hid the resize handle and made it impossible to resize the window. This has now been fixed.

**Bug – P3-29801 – Clearer label for authorization groups in the document dialog**  
The label “Confidential for the following authorization groups” in the document dialog gave the impression that the selected groups were denied access, when in fact they are the ones granted access. The text has now been changed to clearly describe that the selected authorization groups are granted access to the document.

**Bug – P3-29532 – Creation date no longer changes when a document is updated**  
When uploading a new version of a document, the document's original creation date was previously updated to the new date. The creation date is now correctly kept unchanged when updating.

**Bug – P3-28931 – Fixed: access denied to documents despite correct authorization**  
Users with correct authorizations could previously be denied access to documents with an error message about insufficient rights. The issue has now been fixed.

**Bug – P3-27015 – Incorrect authorization error when opening documents fixed**  
An authorization check could previously incorrectly show an access-denied message when a document was opened, even though the user had full rights. The check has now been corrected.

**Bug – P3-26976 – Drag-and-drop of folders no longer hides content**  
If a folder was dragged and dropped several levels down in the folder tree, underlying folders and files could disappear from the view without warning, even though they still existed and could be found via search. The move is now blocked with a warning in the same way as when moving one level down.

**Bug – P3-26522 – Document management menu is now visible for closed errands**  
The three-dot menu for document management was previously not shown for closed errands, which made it difficult to upload files via the menu. The menu is now available regardless of the errand's status.

**Bug – P3-24436 – Clearer error message for files that are too large**  
When uploading files that exceed the allowed size limit, a clear error message is now shown stating that the file is too large, instead of an unclear generic error.

 

### Pythagoras Work Order

**Improvement – P3-29204 – Correct app link in errand emails**  
Errand emails now contain separate links to Pythagoras Web, MyPages, and Pythagoras GO, so that the recipient is taken directly to the work order in the app they actually use.

**Improvement – P3-29170 – Tree structure for category selection when registering work orders**  
When registering work orders on MyPages and in Pythagoras GO, you can now select a category via the same tree structure that already exists in Pythagoras Work Order. This makes it easier to find the right category among multiple levels.

**Improvement – P3-26574 – Default work order type also applies on MyPages**  
The default work order type setting now also applies when work orders are created via MyPages, not only in Pythagoras Work Order. The selected default type is also shown at the top of the list there.

**Bug – P3-30296 – The app no longer crashes when selecting in a multi-select list**  
Clicking the multi-select list in the description field of a work order could previously cause the app to close unexpectedly and log the user out. This has now been fixed.

**Bug – P3-30269 – Correct hover color on the cancel button**  
We have fixed an incorrect hover color on the cancel button in deletion dialogs. The button now displays with the correct color in all dialogs.

**Bug – P3-30223 – Work order invoicing now validates required fields**  
We have fixed an issue where work orders with missing required fields could be saved for invoicing without warning, which could then block both file creation and deletion of the invoice basis. Required fields are now checked already when the work order is saved for invoicing, and it is always possible to delete an invoice basis.

**Bug – P3-30206 – Clearer interface for description templates**  
We have fixed several shortcomings in the interface for description templates. Required fields are now clearly marked, the focus color displays correctly, and the button for adding a new template is always visible.

**Bug – P3-29907 – The fields for group and case handler are no longer cleared**  
We have fixed an issue where the fields for responsible group and assigned case handler could appear empty after you manually selected them when creating an errand, even though the values were saved correctly. The fields now show the correct values immediately.

**Bug – P3-29786 – Protection against deleting work orders with invoices**  
We have introduced a safeguard so that a work order can no longer be deleted if it has linked invoices. This prevents invoices from being left behind in the system with no way to manage them.

**Bug – P3-29237 – Comments are displayed in the correct order**  
We have fixed an issue where comments in a work order were sometimes displayed in the wrong order. Comments are now sorted correctly and displayed chronologically.

**Bug – P3-29014 – Fixed authorizations for land objects**  
We have fixed an issue where users with restricted access to land objects could still see and select all land objects in the object picker when creating a work order. The object picker now only shows the objects the user actually has authorization for.

**Bug – P3-27126 – Correct name shown on the errand card**  
We have fixed an issue where the name of the assigned person could differ between the work order card and the object list. The same name is now shown in both places.

**Bug – P3-26798 – The plus button is no longer hidden in the list view**  
We have fixed an issue where the plus button for adding a new organization could be hidden if the column was made too narrow. The column now has a minimum width so the button is always visible.

**Bug – P3-25944 – Changing the reporter can now be saved**  
We have fixed an issue where it was not possible to save a change of reporter when a new reporter was selected from the list in an errand. The change is now saved correctly.

 

### Pythagoras Leases

**New feature – P3-30608 – Multiple approvers for lease signing via Scrive**  
It is now possible to set up multiple approvable users for signing via Scrive, instead of only a single shared user approving all leases. When signing a lease, the user selects the correct user from a list.

**New feature – P3-28286 – New approval signing flow**  
It is now possible to specify a reviewer who approves a lease via Scrive before it is sent on for signing to the other parties. If the reviewer rejects the document, the signing process is canceled and no further recipients are contacted.

**New feature – P3-24052 – New base year for the consumer price index**  
Leases with index regulation can now be linked to the consumer price index with base year 2020, as an alternative to the previous index with base year 1980. The linkage works the same way as the existing link to the 1980 index.

**Bug – P3-30141 – Correct display of index type in reports**  
Lease reports previously displayed the text “Indextype not set” for leases without index regulation, which could be interpreted as a missing setting. A correct value is now shown when the lease has no index.

**Bug – P3-27048 – Correct rent in the lease alert report**  
The report from Resolve lease alerts could previously show the wrong rent amount and be missing decimals in the change value. The button for retrieving the report is now disabled until the adjustment has been saved, so the report always shows correct values.

 

### Pythagoras Energy

**New feature – Energy targets in Pythagoras Energy**  
You can now set energy targets for your buildings and track how well they are being met. On the building's energy tab you'll find a new section, Targets, where you can see all targets and add new ones. The energy module also has its own tab, Targets, with a combined list of all targets grouped by type.

You choose between two target types: an annual consumption target for a specific energy category, such as electricity or water, or an annual emissions target for CO2, NOx, or SOx. When you create a new target, Pythagoras shows reference values from a previous year that you select yourself, making it easier to set a reasonable target value. Targets can be edited and deleted directly in the list, and you always confirm a deletion before it is carried out.

To track the outcome, the targets list shows the building's actual value for each target, color-coded in green, yellow, or red based on how close the building is to the target. If you open a target, you also see a chart comparing this year's actual monthly consumption with the expected consumption. If consumption data for the previous year is missing, the chart instead shows a clear message stating that the expected line cannot be displayed.

**New feature – P3-27632 – Current month shown in consumption charts**  
The consumption charts on the building's energy tab and in the energy module's follow-up tab now also show the current month, not just completed months.

**Improvement – P3-30001 – Improved import from Öresundskraft**  
Import of meter readings from Öresundskraft now automatically splits longer date ranges into six-month periods, making the import faster and more reliable.

**Bug – P3-29817 – Correct inherited meter in the energy meter API**  
The call to retrieve an energy meter's inherited meter via the public API previously returned the meter's parent meter in the hierarchy instead of the meter the consumption actually inherits from. The call now returns the correct inherited meter.

**Bug – P3-29755 – Meter constant visible again on meter readings**  
The meter constant, which was previously removed from the meter readings view, is now shown again together with the other meter values.

 

### Pythagoras Cleaning

**New feature – P3-28532 – Link to video attachments in reports**  
When a cleaning comment has a video attachment, this is now shown in the report, with a link that takes you directly to the work shift in Pythagoras GO to view the video.

**New feature – P3-28329 – Change an ongoing work shift**  
A cleaning administrator can now add or remove rooms and change the start and end time of an already ongoing work shift, without the shift needing to be canceled and restarted. Affected cleaning staff are notified directly in the app about the change.

**New feature – P3-30419 – Show or hide the cleaning order**  
It is now possible to see the cleaning order in PyGO, but there is a setting that makes it possible to show or hide the cleaning order in Pythagoras GO, so that cleaning staff don't have to see information that isn't relevant to them. You'll find the setting in the system settings.

**Bug – P3-28404 – Fixed issue when updating a cleaning calculation**  
A cleaning calculation could previously not be updated from the cleaning description if it contained a room without a billing code, which caused the update to get stuck on the loading screen. This has now been fixed.

 

### Pythagoras Assets Management

**Improvement – P3-29751 – Clearer marking of selected components**  
Selected components in the floor plan were previously completely colored so that the component's icon disappeared. The icon is now visible even when the component is selected, making it easier to see what type of component is marked.

**Bug – P3-28866 – Rotation of components in grid view**  
It was previously not possible to rotate components correctly in the 2D grid view using the rotation controls. This has now been fixed.

**Bug – P3-28570 – Fixed image orientation for smaller components**  
The floor plan preview image for components with a small area, such as beds, could previously be displayed upside down on the component card due to an incorrect calculation. This has now been fixed and applies to all affected components, including windows and doors.

 

### Pythagoras Planned Maintenance

**Improvement – P3-30258 – Price adjustments are now logged on maintenance code, action, and instance**  
When adjusting the price of maintenance codes, log entries are now also created on the affected maintenance codes, actions, and instances, not only in the overall system log. The log entry shows the previous and new estimated price, making it easier to follow the price history.

**Improvement – P3-29159 – Last performed year updates automatically**  
The Last performed year field now updates automatically in both the action view and the list view when an instance is marked as performed. If the status is changed back from performed, the field is reset to its previous value, and all changes are logged.

**Bug – P3-30147 – Several bugs in status and budget display fixed**  
Status filtering could previously show the wrong actions, and the total amount in the budget calculation did not always match the filtered list. Filtering and cost totals now show correct values.

**Bug – P3-26540 – Duplicate actions in the planning view fixed**  
Actions with multiple instances in the same PM group could previously be shown twice in the planning view. This has now been fixed so that each action is shown once.

 

### Pythagoras Preventive Maintenance

**Bug – P3-29846 – Import of inspection errands no longer crashes on incorrect date format**  
If a start or end date in the import file was in the wrong format, the entire import could previously be aborted with a server error. Now a clear error message about the current row is shown instead.

**Bug – P3-29715 – The map is now shown for outdoor objects in inspection actions**  
When an inspection action was linked to an outdoor object, no map was shown, even though the object had valid coordinates. The map is now shown correctly for outdoor objects, in the same way that already applied to buildings and outbuildings.

**Bug – P3-28459 – Intervals in the maintenance register's Excel export are now shown in a readable format**  
When exporting the maintenance register to Excel, interval values were previously shown as a number of seconds instead of in a readable format. Intervals are now shown the same way as in Pythagoras Web, for example as one month or one year.

**Bug – P3-27364 – Summed time in the planning view now matches the filtering**  
The sum of planned time was previously not updated correctly for all combinations of filters in the planning view. The totals at property and area level are now always calculated based on the filtered values.

**Bug – P3-26569 – Inspection objects linked to deleted areas are now shown in the report**  
Inspection objects that were linked to an area that was later deleted or changed could previously drop out of the report without it being noticeable. The link is now saved at report generation so that all inspection objects are shown correctly.

**Bug – P3-26441 – Correct rooms shown in the floor plan**  
We have fixed several issues in the floor plan view where rooms could be missing, show the wrong status compared to the list view, or lose their marking when you switched between views. The floor plan now correctly shows which rooms have been inspected.

 

### Pythagoras Scripted Errands

**Bug – P3-30271 – Fixed errand type in mention notifications**  
We have fixed an issue that caused notifications and emails for mentions in errands to show the text “null” instead of the errand type. The correct errand type is now shown in the message.

**Bug – P3-29937 – Image categorization in the image viewer**  
We have fixed an issue where the button for image categorization was missing in the image viewer when an image was opened via the folder manager in an inspection errand. Images can now be categorized and included in the inspection report as before.

**Bug – P3-26723 – Correct status for closed errands**  
We have fixed an issue where closed errands showed the status “Approval” instead of “Closed” in the list view in YourErrands. The list now shows the correct status.

**Bug – P3-24148 – Preview of events restored**  
We have restored the preview shown when you hover the mouse pointer over an event in an errand. You no longer need to open every event to read the text.

**Bug – P3-22795 – Line breaks are preserved between apps**  
Line breaks written in YourErrands are now displayed correctly in Pythagoras Web and MyPages as well, instead of the text being merged into a single paragraph.

**Bug – P3-21909 – Filtered tab shows errands correctly**  
We have fixed an issue where the Overdue tab could appear empty after a filter was applied on another tab. The filter now correctly carries over between tabs and can be cleared directly in the tab you're on.

**Bug – P3-20044 – Large images can now be enlarged**  
We have fixed an issue that caused high-resolution images to appear blank or broken when enlarged. Images now display correctly in enlarged mode, while downloading still provides the original image in full resolution.

**Bug – P3-28443 – A round can be completed without entering a time**  
We have fixed an issue where a round could not be completed if the time spent field was empty. The preset time is now displayed correctly again, so you can complete rounds without manually filling in the time.

**Bug – P3-28347 – Attachments open correctly in the app**  
We have fixed an issue where attachments in an errand could be displayed as unreadable text instead of being opened or downloaded. Attachments now open as expected.

 

### Pythagoras MyPages

**New feature – P3-30526 – The GDPR banner no longer hides content in the PDF viewer**  
The GDPR banner in the PDF viewer on MyPages could previously hide parts of the document, such as the drawing stamp, especially at certain zoom levels. The entire document is now displayed correctly without the banner obscuring the content.

**New feature – P3-30661 – Correct login page after logout**  
If the login session on MyPages expired instead of the user logging out manually, you could previously end up on the vacant housing page instead of the regular login page. An expired session now also leads to the correct login page.

**Bug – P3-30893 – The entire errand is now visible on mobile**  
On mobile devices, the bottom part of an errand was cut off on MyPages, so buttons and text at the bottom could not be seen. It is now possible to scroll down and see the entire errand.

**Bug – P3-30205 – Mandatory object required for errands from MyPages**  
Errands created via MyPages could previously be saved without the mandatory affected object, which meant the errand did not get an operations group. The requirement for an object is now also checked when the errand is created from MyPages.

**Bug – P3-29901 – Login issue via the housing queue fixed**  
In some environments it was not possible to log in to MyPages via the housing queue's login page due to an incorrect configuration. The issue has now been fixed so that login works as expected.

**Bug – P3-25291 – Faster zooming in floor plans**  
Zooming in floor plans on MyPages was previously slower than in Pythagoras Web. The zoom speed has now been adjusted to match Pythagoras Web.

 

### Pythagoras My Pages Scripted Errands

**Bug – P3-30297 – Address is now shown for all errands**  
The address was previously only shown for a few errands in the errand list on MyPages, even though an address was registered on the errand. The address is now shown correctly for all errands.

**Bug – P3-29717 – The drawing now updates correctly when changing rooms**  
Previously, the drawing view could show the wrong floor level when switching to a room on a different floor. The drawing now updates automatically so that the correct floor level is always shown.

**Bug – P3-17815 – The map is shown immediately when a building is selected**  
Previously, the page had to be reloaded for the map to be shown after a building was selected in the errand form. The map is now shown immediately without the page needing to be reloaded.

 

### Pythagoras GO

**Bug – P3-26575 – Alternative email address can be removed**  
Previously, it was not possible to remove an alternative email address for notifications in Pythagoras GO – it remained regardless. It can now be removed as expected.

 

### Pythagoras GO Work Orders

**Bug – P3-29768 – Image no longer gets stuck behind the errand card**  
We have fixed an issue on Android where an image could end up stuck behind the errand card after you pressed the phone's back button, which made parts of the app unusable. The image view now closes correctly and you return to the errand as expected.

**Bug – P3-29268 – Goes back from notifications without getting stuck**  
We have fixed an issue where an errand opened from a notification could get stuck in a loading loop when you tried to go back. You now return to the notification list as expected.

**Bug – P3-30598 – Locked errands can no longer be changed in the app**  
An errand that has been locked for invoicing or already invoiced could previously be edited in the Pythagoras GO app. This has now been fixed, so the errand can no longer be changed.

 

### Pythagoras GO Cleaning

**New feature – P3-28694 – New color for inspection**  
Inspection is now shown in purple instead of light blue, both in the floor plan view and the list view, to make it easier to distinguish inspection from basic cleaning. The change applies in Pythagoras GO.

**New feature – P3-28332 – Cleaning order shown in the app**  
The cleaning order set up in scheduling is now shown in the app with a clear number marking, for example “#1”, making it easier for substitutes and new staff to follow the correct order during a work shift. (You can hide the cleaning order in Pythagoras GO, see feature P3-30419 – Show or hide the cleaning order).

**New feature – P3-28674 – Easier to edit and remove comments**  
The menu for editing or removing a comment in Pythagoras GO Cleaning has become clearer, with separate options for each action. You can only change or remove your own comments.

**New feature – P3-28338 – Mention colleagues with @ in comments**  
In Pythagoras GO Cleaning, you can now tag a colleague on the team with @ in a comment. The person tagged receives a notification in the app.

**New feature – P3-28335 – Attach video**   
Cleaning staff can now record or attach a video, in addition to a photo, to document a deviation.

**Bug – P3-29769 – Drawings now load correctly on Android**  
An issue that caused drawings not to be displayed and the app to get stuck in a repeated refresh loop on certain Android devices has been fixed.

 

### Other

**Bug – P3-29848 – Reports now show results correctly from Management Object**  
Reports run from the Management Object tab with a building selected in the report picker previously produced an empty results area. The report result is now shown correctly regardless of where the report is run from.
